Farewell to Amanda – 10 years with us!

February 16th, 2023|Comments Off on Farewell to Amanda – 10 years with us!

Hello 2021!  Fairly safe to say that we're not the only ones that are happy to leave 2020 in the past. The pandemic and border closures have forced us to re-think our travel and holiday plans, many of which included international destinations. Many of us had simply forgotten just how much Australia has to offer [...]

FIRST RUN DONE..REPOST - update by Chris Blanch First charter of the run of season is done and dusted. With the river high and still flowing very fresh we had to think outside the box to find the fish. We had some great sessions on barra and threadfin in the end and some great fish caught with a 95cm being fish of the trip caught by Nick on Dan's boat followed by an 88cm also by Nick a few days earlier fishing with myself. Some massive threadfin caught and some great mixed bags with Fingermark, Jacks, Black Jew and Grunter all coming onboard. Thanks for all the laughs boys look forward to seeing you all again next year! ... See MoreSee Less

🛥 WE'LL BE BACK SOON! 🛥🌬As many of you may already be aware, our beautiful region has endured some pretty wild weather over the past few days as a result of Tropical Cyclone Jasper. The cyclone itself soon became the least of our worries, with rain in excess of 1000mm afterwards causing wide spread damage.🙏We are all extremely grateful to have our crew and fleet safe and sound, having avoided any major damage to ourselves or our homes. Unfortunately others have not been so lucky.🌦 Whilst the uncertainty of the coming days unfolds in terms of weather activity, parts & provisions availability and of course access to our vessels (our crew are spread around the area and travel anywhere right now is tricky), we will continue to keep you updated on the resumption of our operation.First and foremost is the safety of our crew and clients and we will not be back on the water until it is safe to do so.✈️ Those of you booked with us and due to travel in the coming days please keep an eye on your airline updates as Cairns Airport continues to be closed, and land travel to Port Douglas via the Captain Cook Highway or Tablelands is not yet possible.☎️ We will share as much information on here as we can, and stay in touch with you all as we are updated.🫶Thank you again from all of us here at ZULU Luxury Charters for your continuous messages of support - you are what keep us going at times like this We very much look forward to being back out doing what we do best as soon as possible! 🤙🎣🎥 via IG/_kln_ ...
